What is SVEB 2?
The basic qualification in the field of education is the SVEB certificate instructor, which is the first level and the first module of the AdA modular system. It allows to lead group courses for adults and is sufficient for many professional qualifications.
For those who wish to further improve their didactic skills, there is the option of continuing with Level II of the AdA modular system. This consists of five modules that can be completed in any order with the level I instructor certificate. An examination is required after completion of all six modules.
The SVEB Certificate Instructor enables one to lead group courses for adults and serves as a basic qualification in the education industry. If one wishes to deepen one's didactic skills, one can continue with the second level of the AdA modular system, which consists of five modules. After completing all six modules and passing the required examination, one receives the Federal Certificate of Instructor.
With this qualification, people in the field of education can take on more responsibility and not only lead courses, but also design and create curricula themselves. They can also evaluate and advise other teachers and work in managerial positions in educational institutions. However, it is not mandatory to work for an educational institution, as one can also become self-employed or support several companies in an advisory capacity.
