The didactic introductory event in ILS

The didactic introductory event is a concept developed by the ILS that contributes to ensuring the quality of our teachers' teaching.

At the beginning of the year, we introduced a compact further training format for our lecturers: Teachers without an SVEB1 certificate or comparable qualification in adult education are invited to a mandatory introduction. In this 90-minute course, they are given an overview of the basic principles of adult education in didactics and methodology. The course is structured as follows:

A round of introductions takes place at the beginning, during which the objectives of the event are also explained.

The essential elements of the SVEB1 seminar are presented in condensed form using a PowerPoint presentation. The theoretical content is supplemented by the practical experience of the course leader and participants and discussed together. If there are specific areas of interest, there is the option of discussing these in more depth with the course leader directly after the event or arranging a separate meeting.

At the end, a feedback session is held and time is allowed for any questions that may arise.

The course is taught by an SVEB1-certified teacher with extensive practical experience.
